Fame and Work

One of the most important things for a business person to do is work on their brand. This means making sure that your company’s vision, goals, and values align with who you want people to see you. There needs to be consistency between these two aspects to build trust from external audiences. If there is inconsistency, then it will appear like only one of these should matter and not both, which can lead outsiders to think that they are being taken advantage of or misled by an individual or corporation (Nagle).

Ron Blaylock did this well throughout his career as an American businessman and as a philanthropist/philosopher who helped make America more charitable than ever before. He founded The Ron Blaylock American Foundation, which has a mission of helping the world become more educated, giving children in America an opportunity to receive schooling and improving society’s quality of life while reducing poverty.

Personal life

Ron Blaylock worked closely with Bill Gates on his philanthropy efforts that were used for education reform, among other things. He was also the Vice-Chairman Emeritus of The American University in Cairo and helped form its board when he served as Chairman from 1989 until 2004 (Nagle).

The American University in Cairo is where Ron Blaylock’s work can be seen today because it contains many buildings named after him, such as the Ron Blaylock Library Building. It would not have been possible without the time and effort he put into the American University of Cairo.
